What is wire wrapping? It's the technique to wrap flexible wire around a gemstone in patterns and twists, in order to create a case and embellish the pendant.

When a copper wire-wrapped pendant is oxidized, it means that the surface of the copper has been intentionally exposed to oxidizing agents (I use liver of sulfur), resulting in a chemical reaction that forms a layer of copper oxide on the surface of the metal.
Oxidizing gives copper jewelry a beautiful and unique appearance, creating a shiny finish that highlights the details and textures of the metal, protecting the pedants from scratch or damage. It also creates a protective layer on the surface of the metal, preventing it from tarnishing as quickly.

The necklace is stored and shipped in a cute natural card box filled with a protective sponge and comes with a macrame cord that has adjustable sliding knots so it can easily be adjusted to your preferred length (approximately from 12 to 24 Inches).
