Labradorite Copper Wire Pendant

This amulet is handmade with copper wire and features a stunning Labradorite cabochon that I sourced from a small business in India.

Labradorite displays an intriguing trait called labradorescence, where the stone exhibits varying hues and a shimmering effect as you change its angle in the light. This captivating play of colors happens due to the light interference within the mineral's structure.

What is wire wrapping? It's the technique to wrap flexible wire around a gemstone in patterns and twists, in order to create a case and embellish the pendant.

Labradorite: Labradorite is a fascinating stone known for its beautiful colors and magical properties: it enhances intuition and spiritual connection, stimulating the third eye chakra and deepening spiritual awareness. Labradorite promotes personal transformation, self-discovery, and emotional healing, bringing balance, courage, and resilience to navigate life's transitions.

To ensure a perfect finish, I carefully oxidize each pendant to add depth, character and a timeless, rustic charm that makes it the perfect accessory for any occasion.

When a copper wire-wrapped pendant is oxidized, it means that the surface of the copper has been intentionally exposed to oxidizing agents (I use liver of sulfur), resulting in a chemical reaction that forms a layer of copper oxide on the surface of the metal.
Oxidizing gives copper jewelry a beautiful and unique appearance, creating a shiny finish that highlights the details and textures of the metal, protecting the pedants from scratch or damage. It also creates a protective layer on the surface of the metal, preventing it from tarnishing as quickly.

The necklace is stored and shipped in a cute natural card box filled with a protective sponge and you can choose from different cord options to match your personal style:

All options have adjustable sliding knots so they can easily be adjusted to your preferred length (approximately from 12 to 24 Inches).

After testing ordinary shipping, which is cheaper but does not provide full tracking, and is slow and unsafe, packages are now shipped via a speed courier with a tracking number that shows all the journey and locations of your package and delivers it to the destination within a few days.
Depending on the country, I ship using DHL, StarPack, UPS, or TNT.
For national orders, it usually takes about 1-4 days for delivery, while international orders can take up to 3-10 days.

✨ Care: to help protect your jewelry, keep it in a cool, dry location. Avoid things like hairspray, suntan lotion, and other agents that may cause discoloration and/or damage to the metal as well as the stones that are used.
To avoid the copper to get darker, keep the necklace away from water or moisture. Every order includes a complimentary piece of steel wool for polishing your wire wrapped pendant.
