This pendant is made with copper wire and a stunning Labradorite cabochon, purchased from a trustworthy small business in India. It's a unique piece that's sure to catch the eye of anyone who loves all things whimsical and magical ☽🔮☾

What is wire wrapping? It's the technique to wrap flexible wire around a gemstone in patterns and twists, in order to create a case and embellish the pendant.

Labradorite: Labradorite is considered a tremendously spiritual stone, especially helpful for people who tend to overwork. It helps an individual regain energy while aiding the body and spirit in healing itself. It is known for its changing colors, so it is no surprise this gemstone is known as a stone of transformation, enhancing the strength of will and inner worth.

To ensure a perfect finish, I carefully oxidize each pendant to add depth, character and a timeless, rustic charm that makes it the perfect accessory for any occasion.

When a copper wire-wrapped pendant is oxidized, it means that the surface of the copper has been intentionally exposed to oxidizing agents (I use liver of sulfur), resulting in a chemical reaction that forms a layer of copper oxide on the surface of the metal.

Oxidizing gives copper jewelry a beautiful and unique appearance, creating a shiny finish that highlights the details and textures of the metal, protecting the pedants from scratch or damage. It also creates a protective layer on the surface of the metal, preventing it from tarnishing as quickly.

The necklace is stored and shipped in a cute natural card box filled with a protective sponge and comes with a cord that has adjustable sliding knots so it can easily be adjusted to your preferred length (approximately from 12 to 24 Inches).
