Taylor Swift Crochet Dress - Simplified Crochet Pattern

I’ve kept the same colour palette and overall construction (except for the sleeves) but I’ve added a few finishing touches to make it fit my own style.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
(Knowledge of basic stitches and techniques)

Supplies needed:

• 4 mm crochet hook (+ a larger hook for the fringe if you have one)

• Scissors

• Stitch markers

• Yarn needle

• Tape measure

• 4 colors of DK or Light Worsted yarn: To match the suggested color palette, you’ll need coral, lavender, caramel, and white or cream yarn. Since coral is the main color, you’ll need more of it compared to the others.

Yarn Used:

• Main Color: Hoooked Somen in CORALLO S022—a blend of 60% recycled cotton and 40% natural linen. Note: While this yarn is lovely, it tends to split, which can be a bit tricky to work with.

• Color A: Hoooked Soft Cotton DK in Granada Lavender—a blend of recycled cotton and other fibers.

• Color B: Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/6 in colorway 14 (caramel brown).

• Color C: A random unlabeled white yarn from my stash.

This is a made-to-measure pattern, so I can’t provide an exact estimate of how much yarn you’ll need.
However, for a size S, I recommend at least:

• 600 g / 990 meters / 1082 yards of the main color (including the fringe)

• 150 g / 255 meters / 280 yards of color A

• 150 g / 315 meters / 345 yards of color B

• 120 g / 250 meters / 290 yards of color C

I’ve chosen not to include a gauge swatch, as some of you might use different yarns. To avoid confusion, especially for beginners, simply use your tape measure to check your progress, and you’ll be fine.

★This pattern is "made to measure": it requires the use of a tape measure and few calculations. It doesn't provide a specific stitch count for each size as, I believe, everyone has a different and UNIQUE body.

I designed it to be completely made to measure and suitable for everyone, no matter what size, gender, and body shape 🌈 HOWEVER, it is true that each body is different, and there may be variations in how the pattern fits from person to person.
