Autumn Breeze Crochet Mesh Sweater - Video Tutorial + Written Pattern
The Autumn Breeze Mesh Sweater is a fun and quick striped textured sweater that's perfect for a mid-season transition!
The sweater is intended to have a classic fit, with some positive ease, but feel free to make it loose or even oversized!
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- 5 mm Crochet Hook
- Yarn Needle
- Tape Measure
- Scissors
- Stitch Markers
- The main yarn is a combination of 2 strands held together for extra coziness: a Sport cotton yarn + a thread of Lace Mohair.
I'm using a degradè cake called Cotton Kings - Sultan Deluxe in colour 25 together with Friends Kid Silk in colour 49.
They have many colour combinations available, so feel free to have a look at their website!
- SULTAN DELUXE
- FRIENDS KID SILK
If you don't want to use the same combination, feel free to use any Sport/DK yarn of your choice.
The contrasting yarn is a DK Woody Tweed in colour 13, which is made with 100% recycled fibers. It's a little delicate when you pull it so you just need to be extra careful.
- DK WOODY TWEED
For a size S I’ve used approx 870 yards of Sport yarn, less than 300 yards of Lace yarn, less than 100 yards of DK yarn.
Gauge Swatch (BEFORE BLOCKING):
4X4” = 14 trc x 4 rows using the main yarn
